13. ON-HAND SALES

On-Hand Sales

If you have decided to Dropship online, don’t feel like you can’t sell products on hand as well. Shopify allows you to manually input orders made outside of your website. Go Daddy provides this as well with their QR Codes.

Square is another company that offers small business owners chip readers for on hand sells. You should be consistently putting your business out there, even offline. Many communities have vendor events where you can purchase a space, or table to sell your products or services at their events.

The money that you pay for the space is an investment into your business that you will likely get a return on from sales during the event.

If you live in a community who doesn’t have this type of small business support, it’s time to create your own. Seek out fellow small business owners in your community. Create an online group, or simply reach out to see if they would be interested in being a part of a vendor event.

When you are building a small business, your job never ends. When you grow to a certain level, or if you get to a place on your business where you can afford it you can eventually outsource your marketing to a professional. You must do everything you can to get your business name out in both your community, and online.

If you sell food farmer’s markets are also a good place to try to sell your products. Some markets allow you to reserve a space as well to sell you products. No matter what your niche is, you can find opportunities for on-hand sales.
